INVITING CHILDREN INTO THE TRINITY
As Christians, we speak of and pray to God as one and yet three. However, this triune image of God is usually dismissed as too difficult and complicated for children and rarely mentioned in a curriculum. The result could be that our younger companions on the faith journey are left with disjointed stories about God whether as Creator, Christ or the Holy Spirit, yet little sense of God’s shape, being, and wholeness. This workshop will present ways to invite young minds and hearts into experiences of God’s Love as a flowing, unending connection in which they and everything lives. There will be plenty of time for creative group exchange of ideas and questions.
